Floating Markets
The most popular tourist attraction in Can Tho is its floating markets. There are 4 main floating markets in and around Can Tho. The largest of these markets, Cái Răng, is located right in the city centre. The most distant of these 4 markets is Phung Hiep market which located is 2 to 3 hours by boat from Can Tho.
It’s not really possible to see the vendors is small boats and their wares clearly from the river bank. To visit these markets you need to take a boat tour. Can Tho City Centre
Whilst Can Tho is a large city, the area where visitors tend to stay and go out in the evening is on or near Hai Ba Trung Street. This riverside street has lots of hotels, restaurants and bars and gets busy in the evening time. The cool river breezes make the outdoor seating areas on Hai Ba Trung Street are very pleasant.
