Adela Boutique Hotel is a medium sized purpose built hotel located in a popular area only a short distance from My Khe Beach in the eastern part of Da Nang. We stayed for 2 nights in 2023 and recommend this hotel.
Good Points about Adela Boutique Hotel
Adela Boutique Hotel is we think best described as a 4 star hotel for 3 star rooms prices. The rooms, and the hotel in general, are decorated and furnished to a high standard and it has a number of facilities which you don’t find in 3 star hotels, such as a swimming pool.

The room rates at the Adela Boutique Hotel are not as cheap as a standard backpacker type hotel in Da Nang, which is fair as this is not a standard backpacker type hotel. Currently, a standard room booked online costs the equivalent of $17 USD per night. A more luxurious room with a balcony costs $30 USD a night. The Adela Boutique Hotel is also one of the few hotels in the area with family accommodation. A 2 bedroom apartment style hotel costs in the region of $42 USD a night.

As well as the facilities, the standard of the rooms, and the great value for money, we also liked the location of the Adela Boutique Hotel. The hotel is not directly on the beach front (which explains why it’s relatively cheap) but very close to it. The nearest point on the magnificent My Khe Beach is only 450 metres walking distance from the entrance to the hotel.
The area where the Adela Boutique Hotel is located is one of the most popular areas in Da Nang for tourists, both Vietnamese and foreign. As a consequence there are lots and lots of bars and restaurants of all types very close by. For good Indian food you only need to walk 550 metres south to reach Indian Restaurant Ganesh Da Nang. For an excellent Banh Mi (Vietnamese sandwich) in the morning, then we recommend walking 450 metres to the south to Umm Banh Mi & Cafe.
Rooms at Adela Boutique Hotel
The rooms at the Adela Boutique Hotel all come well decorated with the same room facilities as you might expect at a standard 3 star chain hotel in Europe. This includes air-conditioning, satellite TV with English language channels, a kettle, a fridge and a wardrobe.

The beds at the Adela Boutique Hotel are very comfortable. The mattresses are fairly soft, the sheets are good quality and clean, and lots of pillows are supplied. Importantly, the rooms come with bedside power points.

The bathrooms at the Adela Boutique Hotel are also good. Unlike many hotel bathrooms in South East Asia, the shower has a glass wall and door dividing it from the rest of the room which means the floor doesn’t flood whenever someone has a shower. In addition to towels, the hotel also provides single use soap, shampoo and toothbrushes. This is ideal for people like us who only ever travel light with hand luggage on the plane.

The room we stayed in at the Adela Boutique Hotel, a King Suite, had a balcony. The balconies are approximately 1.5 metres wide and 3 metres long. The rooms with balconies are on the higher floors of the hotel with good views of the city and partial coastal views. The Son Tra Peninsula was clearly visible from the balcony.
Facilities at Adela Boutique Hotel
The Adela Boutique Hotel has two sets of facilities. The first set is on the ground floor in the lobby. The reception is staffed 24 hours a day and has plenty of comfortable seating. The lobby also has a large restaurant area. We can’t comment on the restaurant other than it wasn’t open when we visited in October. Most likely the hotel only opens the restaurant during busy periods.

The second set of facilities is on the top floor of the Adela Boutique Hotel. The main feature is an outdoor swimming pool. There is also a bar area and small fitness area with limited equipment and a mat. The views from the pool area are very good, particularly looking back westward towards the city centre.
